We put you at the centre of everything: every single learner is part of the SCL family. We will continue to support you through any experience ensuring that your safety and wellbeing is paramount; giving each of our home learners the same level of care and attention as those who physically attend our courses every day.
Our online platform captures your attendance mark each day which is monitored and shared with our central operations team and safeguarding coordinator.
Our tutors and specialists all have access to a 24 hour online safeguarding portal to log concerns or disclosures which is managed by our Head of Safeguarding. Our safeguarding team have links to each of the local authorities and a wealth of experience and resources to ensure you receive the correct level of support and guidance.
You will have access from 8.30am - 6.00pm to our dedicated Safeguarding Team who you can contact in a number of ways while we continue to work alongside Young Minds, our partner charity, who have a dedicated package of support on offer for you and your family.

YOUR GUIDE FOR ONLINE LEARNING
We have developed a wellbeing guide to support our students who are completing a mix of online and on-site learning, and for students learning remotely.
All our staff are trained on the use of this guide and it will provide you with the highest level of support on your journey with SCL.
Here, we have a key focus on areas which we feel are most prevalent for virtual learning. We feature these themes throughout our delivery going forward, with a special focus on mental health and wellbeing support for people working remotely or in isolation.
